The 200 series if bench tested will result in poor fps if you drop the quality like you would for a 8800 or 9800 gtx.

The 200 series and up cards are not designed for max FPS, my old GTX 8800(9800 is the same) eats up a 200 series if the game allows tweaks like COD4 or COD5 for max FPS, yes things are not as pretty. I'll also cover info that's never really talked about but is needed so you know what you might have to do to get things to work. Till now it does not crash at allД«elow most of the info im supplying is for nvidia gpu's, but that does not mean the info wont apply for ati. Before i had any fixes it could lock up within 5 mins, once sorting out razor mouse it would go 1 hour about, but as i advanced it started locking up more frequently about every 10 mins. Now there are a couple other fixes that will be much further down. But mostly it will lock up at any given random time in game. Now I would get both of these either game freeze and you can some times get to the desktop, some times it just closed by it's self. My version of the game I download from UBI witch comes with a installer $49 USD (no mounting)

OK lets get going with making sure you pc meets the specs required first. I started to think AC II might be like Fallout 3 plagued so badly that would have to wait for another patch from UBi(unlike Fallout 3 that will never happen, patch 1.7 is final). Those with pirated copies don't post for help, you already know why it wont work If you have fixes you found to work please post with basic pc specs, eg Windows 7 and GPU and version of your game(i don't really think this bit matters), followed by your fix.
